V. K. SHARMA is a senior advisor to the Firm. Mr. Sharma has over 37 years of rich experience in the field of law.

Mr. Sharma pursued his career in law in the year 1979 and pursued a career in the Administration of the Hon’ble Delhi High Court. In 1990, Mr. Sharma was elevated to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India as Court Master. Mr. Sharma was in service for over 26 years in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India from where he retired in August 2016 as the Deputy Registrar.

During his tenure of more than two decades at the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Mr. Sharma had the privilege and honour to work with one of the finest judicial minds in the Country including Hon’ble Justice Rang Nath Misra, Former Chief Justice of India, Hon’ble Justice K. N. Singh, Former Chief Justice of India, Hon’ble Justice L. M. Sharma, Former Chief Justice of India, Hon’ble Justice M. H. Kania, Former Chief Justice of India, Hon’ble Justice M.N. Venkatachaliah, Former Chief Justice of India, Hon’ble Justice B. N. Kirpal, Former Chief Justice of India, Hon’ble Justice Tarun Chatterjee, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble Justice S. S. Nijjar, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India and Hon’ble Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India.

Currently, Mr. Sharma is at the Principal Bench of the Armed Forces Tribunal at New Delhi, India. He brings to the Firm the unique experience of guiding the lawyers of the Firm in the interpretation of contentious matters. In this, the vast and immeasurable experience brought by Mr. Sharma complements the pure transactional experience of Aashish Vats, our founding partner, bringing the Firm’s clients the balanced, well-rounded and commercially actionable advice.

Mr. Sharma also mentors the partners of the Firm in areas of business development and professional growth. In his personal time, Mr. Sharma does gardening and spends time with his family and grandchildren.
